“I really wanted to lose weight but didn't want another diet. I liked that there was accountability and some "hand-holding.” Physically I feel great! I didn't realize how bad I really felt until I started feeling really good after about 2 weeks. I have more energy and I don't fell foggy all of the time. I also make time for myself to get myself in line with myself. I feel like I am now listening and working with my body instead of against it.I enjoyed learning about the different hormones and how different foods affect them. I liked trying different foods and becoming more creative in the kitchen. I least enjoyed the beginning; but only because I was overwhelmed and knew it would be a lifestyle change. Also, at first the self care was my least favorite since it was very hard to wrap my head around it. However, self care is now one of my favorites:)

Working with Katie was awesome! It wasn't a rigid structure, there is room for family and everyday things that come up. She is real and knows what real life is. I also like that whenever I would try to be too rigid she would remind me, "Progress, not perfection" It is what I live by now. I feel so proud that I took the first step, embraced it and was able to lose 23 pounds! I feel proud that I listen to what my body is telling me-especially when it is telling me to rest during my luteal phase, lol.

I have learned so much about hormones, my body and food and how they all work together. Now that I know how these work together, I feel better, look better and have a different relationship with food. I know what my body needs and to treat food as medicine for my body. My skin even cleared up, my hair is a bit thicker and my nails are awesome! I never feel deprived of anything; I actually feel like I have more options and ways to be creative in the kitchen. I also don't have to count calories or carbs! My lifestyle has changed completely and I love it!”
